Virtual Circle of Care Event: Understanding How We Move Image
Thank you to everyone who attended the Circle of Care webinar—Understanding How We Move: the Potential to Use Markerless Motion Capture—on September 14, 2022! In case you missed it, watch the recorded webinar on YouTube.

Markerless motion capture is a new technology that allows researchers to evaluate how the body moves by recording movement from every angle and using artificial intelligence to help construct biomechanical data. It has a multitude of potential research applications in areas such as sports performance, injury prevention and disease progression. Motion capture data may have an important role to play in clinical assessments, for example, to capture changes in gait due to the development knee osteoarthritis or to measure the impact of a therapeutic treatment on stroke recovery. Join us on Wednesday, September 14 to find out more about this exciting new technology!

Speaker:
Elise Laende, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Research Fellow—Human Mobility Research Laboratory, Mechanical & Materials Engineering—at Queen's University.
