Shirley Gibson-Langille invites you to her exhibition “Soul Havens” over 100 paintings of Churches in Kingston and 15 surrounding townships. Opening Sunday April 1st 1pm-5pm. Prof. Brian Osborne will preside over the opening. Show continues thru to Friday 27th April 2012 in the Wilson Room of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library 130 Johnson Street. This is a disclosure of what has been happening to Churches of all denominations from the earliest Hay Bay Church, 1792 Adolphustown. Some churches are still going strong, others lay vacant or made into homes, others have been taken down, and one painting is of the 1856 White Church in Morven on fire. Enjoy great entertainment “Sound of Storms” Watch out for the ghosts that haunt my shows-- Refreshments. A percentage of sales go to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
