Benefit Concert in Support of Pediatrics


January 24, 2011/-KINGSTON, ON The Abrams Brothers played to a soldout crowd at their Homecoming Benefit Concert in support of the Pediatric Unit at KGH and the music Program at the Boys & Girls Club.

Born and raised in Kingston, John, 20, James, 17, and cousin Elijah, 20, have been recording and touring over the past two years.  John told the audience of about 700 music fans how excited they were to perform for family and friends back in their hometown.  "We are very proud of this city and its people, and we always try to give back to the community that helped us to get where we are today."

The UHKF share of the proceeds from the concert will help children receiving pediatric services at Kingston General Hopsital.
