Leslee Thompson, President and CEO of KGH, announced the naming of the Linda Ann Daly & Walter Fenlon Conference Room in recognition of this gift. The new learning and consultation conference room will be situated on Burr 0, ground level, off the main lobby.
Ms. Daly said, “We are very pleased to support enhanced education facilities for our health care professionals to help them deliver improved patient care. As a former educator, I know how important it is that we designate and protect space for learning, exploration and dialogue, which provides us with a wise and sensitive platform for decision-making.”
The $70-million Together We Can campaign is the largest and most important health care fundraising initiative in the history of Southeastern Ontario. Led by the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, the joint fundraising arm for Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care, the campaign will raise money for the redevelopment of our hospitals, the purchasing of equipment and the funding of medical research and staff education.
