New this year, the Kingston Gardening Festival will be in partnership with the Eastern Ontario Home and Cottage Expo at a brand new location, Kingston Expo Centre (formerly Northern Telecom) on Riocan North Way.  2012 marks the 11th year in which the Kingston Gardening Festival will be held. This year's theme is entitled "Celebrating Growth" featuring a coordinated blend of sights, sounds and smells reminding us all how wonderfully satisfying, necessary and rewarding gardening can be.

With the highest mortality rate among all mental illness, eating disorders are not be taken lightly. That is just one of many reason why you should come and participate in the EveryBODY's Beautiful Charity event in support of the eating disorder clinic at Hotel Dieu Hospital.

Phillip Brown raises funds for hospitals through sale of new novel

Kingston author Phillip Brown announced that he will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of his novel “Critical Care” to the University Kingston Hospital Foundation to support the Intensive Care Unit at Kingston General Hospital.

Intensive Care Unit Redevelopment Project Opens

December 2, 2011/-KINGSTON, ON -- Donors, dignitaries, hospital staff, community members and health care partners gathered to celebrate the opening of Kingston General Hospital’s newly expanded Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The new Intensive Care Unit boasts more beds, providing patients with improved access to the most urgent care in a family oriented environment that will soon include a family lounge area and quiet consultation rooms. Patients will begin receiving treatment in portions of the expanded ICU this month.
