First of 13 major KGH redevelopment milestones reached!

April 8, 2009/- KGH President & CEO Leslee Thompson, Board of Directors Vice-Chair Chris Cunningham and staff members of the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Printing Services and Respiratory Therapy officially opened  the newly renovated FAPC 0.

On time and on budget, this is the first of 13 major milestone moves of the four-year redevelopment project at KGH. KGH is currently undergoing the largest hospital redevelopment project ever in the region involving over 170,000 sq. ft. of new space and the renovation of 143,000 sq. ft. space. The relocation of these services into newly renovated space will allow for future renovations and increased capacity for the Central Processing Services, a key surgical support.
