September 12, 2008/- Tim Hortons customers will be putting on a smile for local health care September 22nd through the 29th. Tim Hortons Smile Cookies will be on sale for $1 (tax excluded) at 17 stores across Kingston area during that week. All the proceeds from the sales of the special, smiling chocolate chunk cookies will go towards the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation to support redevelopment at Kingston General Hospital.

All the funds raised through the Smile Cookie program will be counted towards the Foundation’s $70 million Together We Can campaign – the largest and most important health care fundraising initiative in the history of Southeastern Ontario.
