Ride for Dad gives $58,000 to Cancer Centre

Dec. 19 2007/- The Kingston-Quinte Chapter of the Motorcycle Ride For Dad presented the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation with a cheque in the amount of $58,923 December 10th. The money will go to support prostate cancer research and education at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at KGH.

The purpose of the Motorcycle Ride for Dad is to save lives through prostate cancer awareness, education, and research. Funds are raised through rider pledges, donations and sponsorships, during a single day event that takes place in many cities throughout Canada.
