Give the Gift of Health Care this Holiday Season

The season of giving

The holiday season is a time of giving. For some, it is a time to remember our faith. For others, it is about presents under the tree or celebrating the start of a new year. During this season we honour our family and people we care about with gifts. Now, there’s a way for us to give one of the most special gifts of all – the gift of health care. The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation’s Give the Gift of Health Care program allows you to give a gift to someone you care about and to support our hospitals at the same time.

How it works

When you make a donation in honour of someone through the Give the Gift of Health Care program you’ll be able to create a personalized card to send to them. Choose between five different cards – Hanukkah, Santa Claus, Traditional Christmas, Season’s Greetings or New Year’s. Make your donation online and then download the card and send it yourself, send the card by email or let the Foundation send the card for you – it’s your choice. Or call the Foundation and do it over the phone.

Details

Minimum. $10.00 minimum donation per transaction required. There is no maximum gift. One time and multiple payment options are available online.

Payment. Credit card (VISA or MasterCard) is required for online giving. Cash or cheque payment only accepted in person at the Foundation office or via mail before December 18, 2009. Contact us for more details.

Cards. One card will be issued per donation. Over the phone or in person, access to email and downloaded cards are not available. Cards printed at the Foundation are on paper-weight stock, not card-stock.

More than one donation. If you would like to multiple donations to honour more than one person, contact us.

Redevelopment projects at Providence Care

Mailing. Deadlines when you let the Foundation send the card are December 7th for Hanukkah, December 18th for Christmas and December 23rd for New Year’s.
