An anonymous friend of Kingston’s hospitals has donated the use of his private golf course and cottage on an island off of Kingston, Ontario for an unforgettable day of golf, followed by a sumptuous dinner and campfire jam session with an incredible mix of celebrity guests on September 8, 2011!
During the online auction that will take place from August 23-30, 2011, three foursomes will be available to the highest bidders. Each of the lucky foursomes will participate in the day’s events on September 8th and they will be joined by the following sports stars and musicians:
Olympic Champions: Jayna Hefford, Lori Dupuis and Tessa Bonhomme (Team Canada, Hockey), Marnie McBean (Team Canada, Rowing
)Musicians: Gord Sinclair and Paul Langlois (The Tragically Hip), The Campfire Liar’s Club Band

All proceeds from the auction will go to the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario and Providence Care’s Palliative Care Program. University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF)

Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario
The Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at KGH coordinates the provision of cancer services to patients and their families throughout Southeastern Ontario from Brighton in the west to Brockville and Perth/Smiths Falls in the east. Providence Care’s Palliative Care Program at St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital
Providence Care St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital’s Palliative Care Service provides compassionate and comprehensive care of the terminally ill and their families at a time when treatment aimed at cure and prolongation of life is no longer appropriate. Services are provided by a multi-disciplinary health care team with active participation by the patient, the family and volunteers.
