Campaign Countdown
The Providence Care Employee Campaign is winding up this week and CEO Dale Kenney, along with your co-chairs Chandra Davies and Tanya McDonald, will be announcing the results of the campaign at the upcoming staff forums scheduled on June 8th and June 9th.
There is still time to get your pledge forms back in to our hard working canvassers. Remember, handing in a pledge form guarantees that your name goes into the random draw for thank you prizes.
The winners will also be announced at the staff forum – you have a chance to win a range of exciting prizes including gift certificates and clothing items, a-day-off-with-pay, and the most exclusive prize of all is the chance to have a member of senior management job shadow you for the day. Be sure to get your pledge form in on time!
Launch May 4th
The Providence Care Employee Campaign to support the Together we can campaign was celebrated with a series of kick off events on May 4th at the three Kingston sites; Mental Health Services, St. Mary's of the Lake and Providence Manor.
Staff members joined CEO Dale Kenney, campaign co-chairs Chandra Davies and Tanya McDonald, volunteer canvassers and representatives from University Hospitals Kingston Foundation in the cafeteria for a few speeches and some cake and refreshments.

Dale thanked Providence Care staff for their dedication and commitment and encouraged everyone to get involved in the giving campaign explaining that, "While we are members of the Providence Care community, we are also part of the larger community who all depend on Kingston hospitals for quality health care".
Tanya McDonald spoke of personal circumstances involving her husband BJ, whose life threatening illness and eventual recovery inspired her to give to the hospitals that saved his life. She reminded staff that it is important to join in the campaign because of the thousands of stories just like hers.
Chandra Davies said "We can all do something, and there are lots of ways for you to become involved in Providence Care’s employee campaign. Our combined effort will make a dramatic impact". Together we can Chair, Ian Wilson, echoed her thoughts and noted that even a small monthly or bi-weekly pledge of just $2 really adds up over time. Chandra also provided details on some great prizes available for employees who return a pledge form to their canvasser. These include: a day off with pay, gift certificates to PC cafeterias and local businesses, and best of all, the chance to have a member of senior management job shadow you for the day. Check with your canvasser to find out how to get your name in the random draw for prizes.
