Staff members joined CEO David Pichora, Chief of Public Relations & Community Engagement Elizabeth Bardon, campaign co-chairs Marianne McLure and Clarence Willms, volunteer canvassers and representatives from University Hospitals Kingston Foundation to hear about the campaign, and enjoy some cake and coffee.

Dr. Pichora thanked the campaign co-chairs and canvassers and urged all staff to get involved in the the month-long campaign blitz.

Marianne reminded the audience that we all need our hospitals, "This redevelopment is not about our own day-to-day workspace, but rather about improving all three community hospitals and clinics from which we, our families, friends and all of you, will receive services from in the future."

Clarence provided details on some great prizes available for employees who return a pledge form to their canvasser.  These include: a day off with pay, gift certificates to the hospital cafe and best of all, lunch with Dr. Pichora.  Check with your canvasser to find out how to get your name in the random draw for prizes.
