Together We Can Campaign Succeeds!

We are the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation - the fundraising arm for Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care. 

On June 6, 2011, the Foundation celebrated the announcement that the $70 million Together We Can campaign had reached and surpassed the campaign goal, raising a total of $72 million in pledges and gifts for Kingston's hospitals. 

These funds were raised with the help of more than 40,000 donors from across Southeastern Ontario, including individuals, service clubs, businesses, local governments and more.

The $70-million Together We Can campaign was the largest and most important health care fundraising initiative in the history of Southeastern Ontario.

Led by the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, the joint fundraising arm for Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care, the campaign raised money for the redevelopment of our hospitals, the purchasing of equipment and the funding of medical research and staff education.

For 170 years, our hospitals have been providing some of the best care in Ontario. Now, a new chapter in the long history of Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care is being written – the redevelopment of our facilities.

Hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent over the next few years to transform our hospitals and the services they provide. Redevelopment will be the greatest change in health care in Southeastern Ontario in a generation.
